Drew Bledsoe took out a full page ad thanking all the New England fans for his experience there.
Take a look. (http://www.boston.com/sports/patriots/bledsoe_ad.htm)

Hmmm he's from Walla Walla Washington. I've been there and it is definately a small town actually the biggest thing there is Walla Walla College (http://www.wwc.edu/) Wonder if any friends from that area know this guy or his family.

Yep. Bledsoe's always seemed like a pretty classy guy. I always thought he deserved a SuperBowl win of his own... but the only one he's played in was against the Packers, and I'm a Packers fan...

I'm just glad he didn't end up in Chicago or Cincy. I hope he does well in Buffalo...

sure, it's a way to generate positive publicity.

but i think that if you look at bledsoe's behavior throughout the last season, as others have mentioned above, i think it's part of a pattern of positive, classy behavior.

here's a superstar who got BENCHED for most of a season but managed to never come out and gripe about it in the press. that in itself speaks very highly of him in my opinion.

Whether it be for publicity or not, he is still a great player and I am glad he decided to take the ad out thanking the fans. About time a player did that.
