Ok so they debut'd his new song on the radio today. Did anyone hear it? It's playing right now (sorry don't know the name) and it's sounds kind of cool. I'm not exactly a fan of his, but I like some of his stuff. Saw him on The Warped Tour a couple of years ago.. til someone threw a bottle at his head and he left after 4 songs.. heh..
So.. anyone have any opinions?

'twas one of the funniest things i'd seen all day, because he got all huffy.
He wasn't the only one to have it done to him either. The drummer from The Vandals got hit in the face by a shoe in the middle of a song and he kept playing (although everyone else made fun of him ;) )

The song is called "Without Me" from the new album "The Eminem Show" coming out next month.

I think his new song has a good beat as previously mentioned, but they will overplay it as they usually do and people will get sick of it within the first week.
There is no such thing as "over playing" something. People's taste just change.

Does anyone have any of the mp3s off the upcoming album besides these two? I've attempted acquiring them but keep coming up against copies that are just looped choruses...and that gets me pissed. Well, if you do have other songs off the album...please IM me. I don't want to wait until June to hear the other stuff.

oh yeah...and this cd is supposed to have the most advanced protection of any audio cd ever made, but it hasn't stopped a few of us. I'll still probably buy the limited version...just because it comes with a free dvd with all his music videos and interviews.

Its copy protection is irrelevant, there are numerous ways to record in digital sound not using a computer, then importing to teh computer as a .wav. They are so dumb.

Investing in the copy protection is stupid on their part. Even the best protection will be broken by someone. In this day and age it only takes ONE person to rip it and put it on Kazaa. The concept of stopping the casual pirate no longer really applies.

It definitely comes with a DVD, but if you want to learn moreabout the content, go to http://www.bestbuy.com/eminem . I haven't really looked into all of the stuff on the DVD, but I know it includes music videos (i'm sure it would include "without me" at least) and interviews, and even some stuff about his upcoming movie.

Yup, I have the entire "The Eminem Show" already. And to tell the truth, it really aint that great. It's real dark and not as funny or catchy as his other CDs. A couple good songz, but not worth buyin ;)

It's a pretty good album, keeping in mind most hip-hop cds come out with 2 or 3 good tracks on them. This one has 6 or 7. Though I must say I tend to like his solo stuff initially.....but a month after it comes out it starts compiling dust.
He moved away a bit from the blatant g@y bashing, which is good. He even has a couple of references to things like the line between music/rap and reality.
Pound for pound he is the most skilled rapper in the game. Period. Though I'll take Redman over anyone.

I actually like most of this CD. I don't agree with a lot of stuff that Eminem says in his music, but I think a lot of the stuff he comes up with is really clever - and entertaining - and for that reason, I tend to like listening to it.
Anyways, this CD is a lot like the other two - a few skits, a few songs about his family, a few songs about his critics, and whatever else he's thinking about when he writes them. But all in all, I think it came out well.

great rapper..without me is a cool song. whats the name of the movie he is in? i saw the preview for it a year ago and it looks good
The new cd is OK. He has mostly REALLY REALLY REALLY crappy songs of it. Some of them are good ol' Eminem up to his ol witty sayings again. I am not a fan at all and I rarely listen to hip-hop anymore but he does make some funny rhymes and beats. "White America" is a pretty good song on it. "My Dad's Gone Crazy" will probably get some noise in the media because of the crap he says about the WTC.
