I'm gonna be installing a window in my case soon and was just wondering where you guys got yours and for how much. Kinda looking for one with a pre-cut hole in it for my side case fan, but it's not a necessity.

And since I'm doing this, I'll also need a dremel. sho.gun recommended the Black & Decker RTX. Anyone have any experience with this one? Thanks.

I think the company that makes Blizzard cases sell windows, but those are probably catered to their own cases. The hardware store would be a good bet to find plexiglass and the sort.

You don't really NEED a dremel to do this, what you planning on using it for?

Of course you need a dremel tool... modder's best friend. Wird... get your butt to home depot and buy a sheet of lucite. Then cut the side of your comp in the shape that you want your window to be. If you only want a window, not a doorlike thing, just take the lucite and glue it down on the other side. Walaa, instant window.

I found that jig saw works better than Dremmel. I messed up the panel pretty good with Dremmel!

Thats what I was thinking. If you're short on money, and have other assorted tools lying around the house, you don't really NEED a dremmel to make a decent window.

I did my case with a jigsaw, and the window came out pretty good.

wow buying a pre made windows how lame. dremels are the way to go, get a varial speed one, you will notice you use it for more then just modding. make your own window be unique...
