This is what appeared on my CC statement:
"New Millennium Compute" with this phone number: (847) 490-5312
I called them through DialPad(free long distance) and didn't get anywhere with the guy on the phone. Can anyone say "Class Action Law-suit"
BTW, why was the last thread closed?

What if you contested the charges with your cc company?

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly...why are you mad? You did authorize them to take out the start-up fee right?

Well, I would think that he is upset because he was led to believe he would fill out surveys in return for ISP reimbursement. Is that not the case?

Yep, I'd say it's a scam.
Problem is, proving it, at this point, may be tough. They can just claim processing trouble, they really wanna come through, blah blah. Any lawyers out there wanna read the contract for loopholes to let them out?
EVERYONE WHO GOT SUCKERED INTO THIS PLEASE CONTACT THE FTC ABOUT THEM!!

After I threatened to goto the FTC with this, they finally sent me a reply stating I would receive payment at the end of next week. Whoopee, I (might) get paid after I joined FIVE months ago..... Free internet access, my ass....

I got one payment from them so I didn't lose any money. Waiting for the back payments for subsequent surveys... see my other post for the email (rhino update)

I'm not so sure I completely trust someone chiming in on Rhinopoint's behalf who only has one (now three) posts. And they're all Rhinopoint posts.
Hmmmmmm.... I think you know where I'm going with this one.
Dave.

For those oblivious to subtlty.... I THINK "notcreative" could be a tool for Rhinopoint. Or, even worse, Rhinopoint public relations.
