Sounds like something the BOFH (http://bofh.ntk.net/Bastard.html) would use.
A friend of mine has a standard telephone cord with a plug on the end he's used to fix trouble with his line.

that's pretty damn funny...good find geek. sad thing is, we could probably make those things, sell them on ebay as "super new pc overclocking circuit cleaners" and we'd sell a million of 'em to clueless schmucks...
then the lawsuits would begin...

we have NT and Novell at my company (mostly nt) and the past 2 days we have had very little to do. But that happens from time to time...we are either swamped with work, or have nothign to do.
no its not a small company... we have about 700 users back office and 33 remote locations.
