Check out this place: http://www.adviceforpcs.com/network/category.asp?category=adapters not sure if it is that great of a price. Someone had this exact same question a few days ago. Check a few posts back. I think someone had a decent post.

Try this:
3com's latest and greatest 10/100 PC card NIC with v.90 modem built in. One extra durable xjack connector for both RJ11 and RJ45. The new lucite xjack even lights up different colors to tell you what kind of connection you have and how fast it is.

$99
The comparable Intel unit is $150 and isn't quite as nice. Both, however, are great deals. I went for the Intel management NICs for my desktop (the 2/$39 deal) and got a couple of the $99 3com pc cards for laptop use.

I bought one from http://www.egghead.com/atauction/computers/networking.htm
for $20 it was TRENDnet 10/100 with low powermode.
They currently have a 3COM 10-BASE-T LAN Cards with X-Jack for $9 at http://www.egghead.com/category/inv/00000223/03070598.htm.
I've seen other Laptop network cards new from places like PC Connection or PC Zone for $59 for Linksys 10/100.
