Don't know prices to well on those cards but, if there is a best buy near you they are having a sale. They have a netgear 10/100 PCMCIA Ethernet Kit for $69.99. Maybe office Depot has this also, possible price match deal too!

If it's a token ring PCMCIA card you're after, I've got one I'm looking to part with. Shoot me an email if you're interested...

Check out the auctions at egghead and ubid. they usually have some at decent prices, unless they're a good coupon for somewhere.

I think this was posted here and on other boards a while back by someone else.

3com's latest and greatest 10/100 and v.90 card. $99 direct from 3com.

No, you won't find it cheaper elsewhere. Yes, it is a good card. Yes, I own one and use it a lot. When I needed a network card AND a modem, it replaced the 3com-manufactured IBM X2 modem (upgraded to v.90) that came with my Thinkpad.

PS: Almost forgot. No dongles necessary with this card. the RJ45 can plug right into the heavy duty xjack connector, which lights up different colors to tell you what kind of connection you have and how fast it is. For those who have grown accustomed to using dongles to hook up their cards to the network, it also comes with one of those (at least mine did), but you don't need it.
