Ok, not really packing so much as cleaning to pack. :)
I have cleaned out the right hand side of my desk. Got rid of a whole bunch of crap and organized the rest better. I had all the stuff that Josh has colored, glued, taped, cut out, etc, at preschool this year in one folder and it had spilled over into a 2nd one (meaning I kept adding stuff and it outgrew 1 folder. :) ). So now I have all that stuff in a box, ready to take over and stick in a closet. I have all the booklets for all the household items (vcr's, tv's, radio's, toys, etc) in a folder, organized by type (electronics, kitchen appliances, toys, misc.). The folders in my drawer are hanging file folders. Well, that booklets folder had gotten incredibly thick & heavy. So I got a plastic file folder that has sections and closes and put them in one of those.
I have a folder with my stuff in it (cards from Scott, etc), medical folder, automobile folder, budget, rent, utilities, income tax, insurance, and a few more that are empty.
I am just impressed with myself! :D lol
So now I am taking the "Food" folder and going to copy all the recipes that I have printed out from like foodtv.com or whatever and put them on index cards and put the cards in a recipe box I have. w00t! Organize Jenny! :D
