While I was parking my car, I saw something a lil hairy on the ground, that seemed kinda flat. I thought it coulda been some feathers from a bird or something. It didn't seem to move at all. I proceeded to park, and when I got out and looked at it, I noticed it was a little kitten. :( my friend reminded me of it a few times during the day sayin "you killed the kitty".. :bawl:

...or you might have been framed. Look at it this way: that kitten could have been a stray who probably would have starved to death and you spared it a lot of suffering.

if you had been the one to kill it, it woulda still been twitching and flopping. they do that for several minutes, even when totally squished. so it probly wasn't you.

No note.. at least i dont think so. well, I didn't look closely if the kitten was writing something out with its bloody paws.. at which i'm still unsure if i'd be able to understand the cat language.

My wife hit a Mourning Dove once. She was coming up on it and it sat in the middle of the road a little too long. All we heard was a "Thunk!" and I looked back at a bunch of feathers settling on the road. She felt really bad about it and of course I was the one to say, "You KILLED it! What about it's mate? How do you think that dove's family feels now? What about THEM?" (Yeah - I'm the one to come to for sympathy). That was almost 4 years ago.
To this day, every time I see one of those doves out in the road I yell, "A DOVE! Don't hit him!" to which she replies, "Cut it out!", "Stop it!" or "Shut up!".
:laugh: I still love doing that...

On a curious note, did you see any suicide notes around with a little pawprint at the bottom?
Hey, you never know... they have kitty prozac now for just these kinds of things.

I would love to see a depressed cat, jeez, I wish I got to lay around all day and play with yarn. Maybe this kitty was a catnip addict who ran out of her house and hid under your tire...she might have been drunk, did you see any minature martini glasses around? olives or little pickles?
