Is there a way to hook-up two printers to a single computer without using a switch?

Use USB connections and it should work fine. . .

Use USB and you can hook up as many as you'd like (I have three hooked up to one of mine).

actually that would be sort of stupid, as parrallel ports use quite a bit of system resources, the lag i had on my old comp due to network printing WAS horrid.
