yeah probably, but it'll cost you and arm and a leg and probably a head too...at that cost (i'd say around $300), you might as well buy a md player/recorder.

mmph...I'm so tempted to buy a card...but I promised myself I wouldn't spend anymore money aside from the original $50! Maybe I'll wait a few months and wait for the cost to come down. Think it will dop to like $50 in the next 4-5 months anyone?

really OT - but the Nomad II's you guys got from Emusic -- are they the 64MB version or the 32MB version ?

Just curious -- I didn't take advantage of that deal but bought a RIO300 for $99 - $50 rebate a couple of weeks ago..

Just ordered the 64mb smartmedia from mobshop, if 4 more people buy it will drop down to $125, and I checked, you can get the $25 dollar rebate even if you're not a new time customer. Comes out to $100. This is the best deal I've seen on smartmedia and the shipping is free too.

This is why I didnt go for this deal. I knew I would end up paying over $150 before ebaying anything. I would rather get a RioPMP 300 and an additional 32MB card for like $90...

AJ -- i did exactly that.. I got the Rio300 for 99 - 50 rebate, and then ordered the 32 MB from Mobshop for 65..

so my total about 110..

plus i love it..

On the page for the rebate it says that if you've used the 25 dollar rebate before, you can't use it again. (Although you don't have to be a first time customer at mobshop.com)
