oh, what really scared me was that UPN is reunning all tehse mothers day specials...

i think mother's day is always on a sunday. :)

I can never remember when it is, so I usually just give my mom a gift around the 11th or so.

easy way to tell what day it is.. post something and look at the timestamp :)

i had my sister take a pic of the three of us on the digital camera this weekend... put the best one on a disk as a jpg... took it to walgreens for the kodak picturemaker... got 8 prints... put two in frames for the two grandmothers in nursing homes... the other two grandmothers and three mothers got theirs stuck on this cool magnetic backing stuff with a little border with our names and the date. best part is, the ones with the magnetic "frame" fit neatly inside the cards... i even got evilgremlin to put a scribble on each of the cards with enough restraint that the hallmark sentiment is still visible. not too expensive, but still a nice little gift.


so we'll see who loves us next time we make the rounds at home, based on whether they put our mugshots up on the fridge :dodgy:

Last year we got my mom her own domain. We made up a cool web site with pics of the grandchildren and stuff. The domain is the nick-name my kids call her. She thought it was a pretty cool gift, and it only cost $15 plus a few hours of web design work.

I'd post a link, but then everyone would photoshop Passwird's head all over my family.
