I've got an athlon xp 1700+ on an asus a7v266-e mobo, and using two different temp sensor programs the processor has been reading ~60C/140F and the case has been ~33/91. Are one or both of these values (way) too hot? If so, can someone suggest some things? :) I've got a mid tower case and it's got a fan exhausting, and then a ho-hum cpu heatsink w/fan. In anticipation of suggestions, I already ordered a new cpu cooler. So any other suggestions? thanks--

Thermalright sk6 w/ a thermal take 6025a fan.

Or if you're too lazy to put those together..

Vantec 6035D (although it's got a LOUD delta fan on it)

From what I heard, some Asus motherboards have probes, which give higher reading. BTW, 60C is way too hot even for an AXP! Mine 1700+ (@ 1.60Ghz) is running under 40C!
