Some folks have said the forms are too bright. This is an option.
Yeah, we have had some people say that the current scheme is too bright. So I quickly made a dark scheme. Still tweaking the colors a bit. I dunno, I always thought the current colors were fine.
I like the current colors. This is a bit....weird :)

....well, I'd still prefer a better AVATAR without "pulling an Airman" (if anyone here remembers that from the ol' AGN days :), one of the funniest things that's EVER happened in forums IMO).

I do think it's a little easier on the eyes...but I don't think I'll get used to that big smiley face without teeth! :) :D

Doesn't work well...the blue text doesn't show very well. And as mojo mentioned, transparent gifs get the halo effect.

The black is far too dark for the blue text. Perhaps using a dark gray would make things more legible? :)

The colors can be adjusted.
As for the pulling an Airman story:
A newbie asked a question in a little used AGN forum and checked off send me email when someone responds. A member {Airman} there in a quest to drive up his post total to reach some member status responded by saying, "No one ever posts here. Go ask at another forum" 100 times. Whats funnier is at the end of all those posts the newbie says, "What the hell is this guy's problem? I got 100 emails in my mailbox!" You guessed it the hapless newbie was email spammed to death. :heh:

I like the new style...I think I'll keep it. The links however need to brighter...a bright light saber blue...or light saber green. :)

Well, i think that the top portion could use a background color change to the same as the rest of the page. (the part with the logo). Also, the links in the navbar at the top need to be darkened back up so they can be read, and the post time should be changed to match the links.

Comments on the Dark style as it is right now? I've been working with Leon to tweak the colors and images some. I will next be tackling the default lavender buttons, so bear with me for a bit! ;)

It's nice looking, but I think I'll switch back to the "regular" font. The new color scheme reminds kinda has a techno/gaming site feel to it, whereas the "regular" seems more laid-back...:D
