I LOVE corned beef brisket and cabbage. I have 2 more hours to wait before I can eat some. I think it's like my favorite food to make cus it's so tasty with mustard and vinegar, it's cheap, and it can feed me for several days. I never knew this before, but there is actually a corned beef season according to my butcher. Never thought beef could have a season.
Just wanted to share that while I'm waiting.

Well, except for the Thai part. lol
My absolute favorite place to eat is OLIVE GARDEN! :D I only get to go 2 or MAYBE 3 times a year and I always swear I'm going to get something different. But nope, I get the Tour of Italy every time. Lasagne, fettucine alfredo & chicken parmesiana (spelling. lol).

Everytime I see those commercials with the people off the boat from Italy it makes me laugh. Any real Italian would throw the dish at the cook and scream obscenties.

I call it "bastardized food". Just like Taco Bell is bastardized Mexican food and PF Chang's is bastardized Chinese food.

olive garden is decent food. kind of like applebee's, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, etc etc. generic, mass-marketed food that is bland and boring enough to avoid scaring most any american.
give me a good indian or middle eastern or chinese or real italian restaurant any day!

That is basically it in a nutshell. OG and Red Lobster is owned by the same parent company Darden Restaurants (http://www.darden.com/darden.asp) and when I worked there, I couldn't stand to eat anything but the salad and the bread and cheese sticks. It all tastes the same to me, even now.
Every once in a while I get a craving for the Pasta e Fagioli or the Zuppa Toscana but I know how to make them myself so going isn't a big must.
As for favorite food, I really don't have one right now. But deviled eggs sound good... and so does brats... bbq this weekend it sounds like

Mmmm...wiener schnitzel und spatzel! Oh baby, I could live on it, but I would get really, really, really fat like all of my relatives in Austria.
Then it would have to be Bul Koki. (dont shoot me for my spelling)

hehe, don't plan on it. I just found it mildly amusing. and my thought of mildly amusing has changed sinceI went insane. damn class has kept me locked up in the lab 24/7. it made me go crazy.
Although french bread is tasty, i would have to say pop tarts are my favorite lately. I might get a little too fat if i keep eating these though.
