this is driving me up the wall! i've never in my life had so my issues w/ undergarments!!

first there are bras, and when you are young you think you're all sexy and so even tho my mother was always like "why are you wearing underwires? they hurt!" i still wore them exclusivly. then one day i decide to try one of those not sports bra bralette thing, and i thought i was in heaven! they are so compfy, i have no ideas why i would ever wear an underwire again. the only problem is they sorta squish the boobs. and so i hold onto the the ones that are painful just in case i need to feel more booby(?!). and then i found one good one, but when i tried to get another, it didn't fit the same... i guess i should have just bought it, i'm sure it would break in ok. (do bras break in?)

next problem is the undies. now, i used to wear thongs all the time. it started out that whenever i got new underwear, i would get thongs, cause i didn't have any. and then it turned into only owning thongs because i never replaced any of the normal underwear that i had. so one day i decided that i had enough of the thongs as well. so i try to get normal bikini underwear. and of course, there are problems with that. i have yet to find a pair that fits correctly. one size is way too small and all the way low pants out there aren't very forgiving (if u know what i mean.) and then the next size up is like bloomers on me. i have a yard of fabric stuck above my waist, and i have no idea of to fix it. i've tried the hipster style, the string bikini, normal bikini, even those ones that are supposed to have "no panty line" (yeah, right) and be low waisted. they weren't a keeper either.

does anyone else have these problems? or is it just me? i hate looking for underwear. i hate it! and i've way too much time to think about it lately, and it is SO bothering me!

I went through the bra thing earlier this year :sigh: And underwear, I stick with thongs. It doesn't matter the cut on them for me, they are all comfy. As for bikini's, I have only found a few that I really like ( and they are all expensive, Victoria's Secret)and they have now become my "bad day undies" and is about the only time I wear them. Sad to spend that much money on stuff for bad days huh...

I need to find new underwear...

Most bras separate, whereas I don't need any more separation, thankyouverymuch. I have a doozy of a time trying to find bras that DON'T have those underwires gouging into the area between your boobs. :pissed:

I was overjoyed when I finally found two styles that fit well and did what I wanted them to, and wouldn't you know it, one style was discontinued. :bawl: The replacement style is close, but definitely no cigar.

Because of my height, lots of panties become bloomers, disqualifying lots of really cute styles. I generally get string bikini's because they're functional yet small enough to not peek thru in low-rider pants.

If only custom-made underwear were more of a financial reality ...

i disagree. the few VS bras i've had were no better then anything else. as for the undies, they never fit me right (see thing about bloomers.)

cause if u go commando, and not wash your pants after every day that u wear them, its like never changing your underwear.

and i think its easier to wash underwear then my jeans.

I've found that many of my VS bras wear out way to quick.

I can't imagine not wearing underwire, and the only time I've ever found it painful is when the bra gets old and the underwire breaks and jabs you.

As for regular underwear, I've been on a microfiber kick for quite some time now. I found some in VS that I love, and also at a store called Wild Women Outfitters. I have bikini, thong and hi-cut briefs. I don't have a problem with low riding pants because I can't stand them. :) They're not bad on others, but on me they are horrendous. when i find something i like, i tend to stock up on it just in case they stop making it. it works great unless i lose weight, and then i have to go out and spend lots of money again.

for undies i personally like string bikinis. those are the most comfy .. believe it or not, express makes some really good ones. i usually go to VS for lingerie but i happened to find, by accident, that express makes really nice undies :)

express does have some decent underwear. woulda never thought they would. :shrug:

i just got a pair of joe boxer thongs. eh...they sux. they don't fit right and are definitely not for jeans that sits low on the waist. i got them because it looked cute (the design is hearts) and its joe boxer. blah...waste of money. :(

i can't imagine thongs being comfortable. in fact, i've even spoken to a couple of girls who said "any girl who claims they wear thongs because they are the most comfortable is lying to you."

i mean, when i was in junior high and i switched to boxers for the first time, i had to adjust to those too. goin from briefs to boxers is sorta the opposite of goin from regular panties to thongs, i think... if you're not used to it (as a guy, i mean), boxers give you waaay too much "freedom", if you know what i mean... ;)

Actually depending on the material and fit, they can be pretty comfy or even more comfy than some regular bikini panties and I can't wear briefs they feel horrible. But I alternate depending on what I'm wearing. I don't like pantylines so I like em!

first time i put on a thong....oh sh*t....i hadda wedgie up my ass the whole day. :( it DID not feel comfy one bit. i felt a lil sexier though. and the no panties line was a plus. started wearing them more and now i can say they've grown on me. i can't 100% say they are the most comfortable thing i'd wear but i like them. they do get better cuz you get use to it. now i hardly notice it at all.

If they are too tight they can be downright painful. And they had to grow on me, too. For everyday thongs, I'm careful about the material and tend to get a size larger than normal.

Dank - Commando is just gross. You gotta have something there to protect your "goods". Plus...well, I won't go there...you ain't a girl and you wouldn't understand anyway...

Why would it be gross? you already have someothing there to protect your "goods", and if u dont have anything there to protect them with... then u'd be NAKED. Of course your not gonna wanna do it during that time of the month.

My wife still doesn't like them. I joke around every once in a while when we're shopping and say "hey, why don't you get a thong or two this time?" and her response always is, "why don't you too?". :P

I'm sure you can get used to them if you wear them enough, but it's getting past those first few times that she just refuses to try.

As for Victoria's Secret, their stuff looks great but the quality control inspectors need glasses 'cause their quality stinks.

Just make sure you wipe the other side thoroughly when you do that - that's one of the reasons we have underwear in the first place. :P
