We stayed in Richmond,VA on Friday night for a Pre-graduation cookout, and it was beautiful. Then someone turned on the news and they announced that Binghamton was getting snow..we all laughed..but we got ours the next day in the form of RAIN-torrential downpours, and I had to drive through it to be at the graduation on time in D.C. because Mr.Melon is still having his eye problem..I was scared ****less that I was going to hydroplane and flip over. I've NEVER seen or driven in rain like this! By the time we got to D.C. the rain had stopped but the skys were black and the wind was whipping around. Sunday though, it was beautiful. As we drove through Alexandria, I said out loud..Helloooo Iron Chef, and my husband looked at me and said "what the hell are you talking about"..It was funny when It happened. Anyway, the snow was gone by the time we got home last night-how long did it last?

I don't know about SD being "freezing" I'm sure our fellas out around the great lakes can explain what freezing REALLY means. :hihi:

I don't think Buffalo should be considered "UPSTATE" NY. Most NYC folks call it that, but when I was in Crapchester, they called it Western NY.

I tried to figure it out once, and then realized that Calvin isn't his first name, it's his last name. His first name is John... John Calvin. The tiger of his is named Thomas Hobbes. ;)
