Started playing a few days after 1.4 was released and already people had hacks going. I'd rather play w/ folks I'm kinda familiar w/ than strangers.

Here's the 411...

...currently looking at a service that will let us have our own "private" server for around 28 bucks including a free web site (unlimited band., etc, very nice). The server can only allow 20 people private, but we would only allow G|A? users on, thus keeping the public out. I would probly set up the password as gotapex, or post it on the site. It comes with HL Guard, and many other programs already installed, which should counter any hackers. So the question is...

Who REALLY wants to play on this server? I know I am in, and would play all summer on the server, but who else? Need to make sure that we are serious, cause I do not want to dish out $30 a month for nothing :P but I will :eek: Also, if we do get this going, more people show than expected, I will get 2 or 3 servers...

..any donations would be helpfull, hehe...

Ok, so I was a huge Doom fan, then Duke3d, Q2, Q3, MaxPayne, but i somehow skipped over CS.

i'd play depending on where the server's located... i usually don't play in rooms where i have >75 ping. hopefully, FF will be off.
