It is pretty lame althuogh the resemblance is a bit freaky. What I wanna know is how the **** did someone figure out to fold a bill like this and get that result. I mean to make it not only look like the twin towers but the pentagon too, kinda weird.

There are a lot of thing that people fold money into. Someone who does it a lot probably just thought the pictures looked like it and told people. All of the folds done were pretty basic, so not much ingenuity was required.
