well, i don't know. but i'm guessing that you can just get others to agree with your idea so passionately that it will become their belief, and the idea they live by. you don't have to establish an actual church. the church/religion is within a person. as for making it an official religion, well, one should have a few followers before requesting it be recognized by the general population. otherwise it'll be viewed as a cult :)

write a bunch of essay's on subjects related to your new religion, then on some date that will be considered "holy" put out your religious scripture and then watch the money pour in... or something :)

money pour in? then watch it pour out when people decide to sue, or the government hounds ya for fraudulent activity. gotta make sure you register and say its a non-profit organization. :shrug:

or books....
and if you really want the money to pour in, get some hollywood stars to join your religion also (perhaps do a little research on Church of Scientology - they perfected the art of money making)
