Hey yall,

It's a beautiful day down here in texas today!!!

I am putting together a computer for digital audio recording and I want to get the 1.6 Northwood intel processor, but I don't know which motherboard is the best for this chip? If you could recommend a couple it would really help...I am looking for a fairly fast MOBO...thx

Matt

to not realize that the company doesnt matter its pathetic, buy for speed, buy for overclocking, but for stability. the 1.6a is one of the best overclockers of all time. dont be dumb.

msi 645 ultra is quite good, thanks CF :D

i'm running the MSI 645ultra 333 board and its rock stable. i use good ram(corsair2700) and have my cpu running at 2.3ghz @1.6volts. like cf said, i have to connect some pins to get the higher voltage with this board.

ps: the boards w/ the 400mhz+ support should be coming soon.
