I ordered a Travan 8GB tape drive last week from the seller on http://www.onedayfree.com. You are supposed to EMail the seller to complete the transcaction, similar to EBay. Well, the guy never contacted me. So, I contacted onedayfree and they called him. Supposedly, his EMail wasn't working. The woman there asked me to phone him. So I did. When I contacted him, he answered his cell phone in his car, and said he was going to straighten everything out. I still haven't heard from him. I called onedayfree to tell them to cancel the transaction. What a hassle!!

Anyone ever bother to notice the selection of stuff that site sells. Most of it is used or refurbished and it is extravagantly overpriced. In addition many of the vendors will not honor the free price or anything close to the deals offered. The order agents go through and help generate publicity for the site but the orders are not honored. I'm with you guys on this one, the site is wack.

my 4 cents canadian --
it is a good concept, but they way that they set it up is wack..
if it wasn't real people on the other end of the sale, if it was, say a corporation or a large retail outlet, it would work.. from what i have heard/read/seen, most people's sales don't work because of lack of communication from the seller or other things..
oh well.. just my 0.02..
