thats is sweet. im trying to do something like that in our basement but i wasnt thinking about that many seats. i really like the star lights in the ceiling, but those fiber optic light systems can get kinda expensive for lights. looks like they did their thx homework with the shape of the room

I wonder what the total cost on that thing was.

Only thing it is missing is a place to put your feet up. If I ever build one it would look like a combination of that and "I Dream of Jeanie's" bottle.

Bu this theatre gets two :thumb: :thumb:

I'd love to have a place like that too. That setup is crazy. However, I personally am a couch man. Those theater seats are cool, but how do you cuddle with this significant other in them? Big comfie reclining couches for me.

install those "love" seatings that some of the newer theaters have :) where you can pull up the divider(cup holder)

I have a couple friends with home theater sets up that are like mini theaters back home. This one is pretty damn sweet though. I hope he watches a lot of movies with all the money he spent :)

There are practically no basements in southern california homes. Makes it difficult here (or at least expensive. more expensive).

:stupid:

Yeah, I'm a couch man too... I like the set up, but I'd rather have a lengthier room with a couple of tiered couches. Also, I don't care for the color scheme, but that is easy to change. :D

Sound Perfection does this type of thing. I checked it out a few days ago. For a top of the line room with everything linked electronically including curtains and popcorn machine - the works - is about $250k. Can do the basic screen sound and chairs for about $150...
