here is an excerpt from his project journal. I changed names to protect the innocent by-standards.
5/22/02:
Am in the lab on crack.... Just said "Down Boy" to Bob! He didn't, so I had to lay the smack down on his @$$. Bob is now on crack and so is Mary and revil. Crack is our teams friend, especially when we are having do these silly assignments in the lab. Look mom, only two weeks left. It is like a bad camp letter.
Dear Mom,
I wish I could tell you all the things that I have seen and done. But the counselors won't give me a pen. They say that pens are dangerous and I might poke my eye out. But I have found a sharp stick and am using my own blood to write to you. I hope they let me out soon. I don't know what that means, but that's what people say. They are coming to take me away now, so I must go. I will see you soon!
