Star Wars Galaxies Beta Registration has begun. The actual beta test will begin on June 15th.

Looks like it should be a fun MMORPG...as long as they don't let Jabba the Hutt...I mean...George Lucas influence it in any way (post-initial concept).

Also I believe Shadowbane is having beta sign ups at www.shadowbane.com (beta section) I am currently in the beta, and find much potential in the game. Star Wars Galaxy's looks like Shadowbane but with lasers :P

Yeah, exactly...except that Star Wars: Galaxies doesn't have horrible 1995ish graphics. They're more 1999/2000ish, but they're still the best any mmorpg has had yet. Those shadowbane shots look pretty sketchy.

Eh sorry for late reply, but I'm not really supposed to talk about the game...but expect improvements soon...

Also SW:G and all the other MMPROG's that are comming out are almost mimicly copy Shadowbane, in the fact of: PvP base, character is defined in later lvl progression, can impact world, etc.

Shadowbane was the first to actually implement these, while DOAC just adapted part of this template to surpass Shadowbane. I remembering telling my friends two years ago, that Shadowbane will set new standards to the mmorpg world...so far they have. Though it may not turn out the best game on the market, they still affected it dramaticly :P
