I have 5 of these. My brother and I were working on a project to modify all of these... we were going to make mp3 players out of them for the car and to get some GPS stuff for them too, but we are both just too busy lately and just don't have the time. These units are basically systems meant to browse the internet and check emails and that is it. But by following some how-to's on the net you can make them functional PCs. Here is a link to a site on how to modify them site link (http://www.larwe.com/technical/webplayer_main.html). Here is a forum that lets you know of different options, upgrades, and technical supportsite link (http://www.linux-hacker.net/cgi-bin/UltraBoard/UltraBoard.pl?Action=ShowBoard&Board=vwgeneral&Idle=0&Sort=0&Order=Descend&Session=).

Few specs on them:
200MHZ National Geode Processor
64MB PC 100 SODIMM Memory
10" Color DSTN Flat Panel Display
56K V.90 Modem (Conexant RP56D chipset)
48MB M-Systems DiskOnChip
2 USB Ports
Audio (National LM4546 CODEC)
Built in Speakers
IR Wireless Keyboard w/Trackball
External P/S

NON-modified Webplayers:

asking $80 each plus actual shipping charges (shipping estimated at probably $12... cheapest I have seen on ebay is $89 plus $20 shipping, or $90 plus $15 shipping)

Feel free to post or email me for any questions or offers
