Deals on Diablo2 "staples" "bestbuy" compusa?

I almost hate to post this for fear of reprisals but i did NOT understand exactly what i was supposed to do at staples to get a good deal. i am 80 niles round trip from staples but will go IF it's a really good deal for me http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif.... so HOW do i get a good deal ? anything under 40 is good right now thats the best i can currently do http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif

I don't understand it either, but what I did kinda piece together, this is how it works. You go to a site that has it cheap, like Googlegear.co, ($44.95) and print out their price and the fact that it's free shipping, and you take it to Staples and make them pricematch it. I guess Staples.com is offering some sort of $20 rebate, although their site is down and I can't find details on it. And, if you can get them to honor some type of coupon, that's even better, but it seems with this "rebate" and pricematch, you get Diablo II for $24.95.

There is also something else about a free software title, but I have no idea what that is all about.

Does Staples normally pricematch stuff? I don't pay attention to the price matching stuff, but I would interested in getting DiabloII.

You are "wrong"! Staples always pricematches internet companies. I called staples and even spoke to the managers as well as the local stores here. For internet companies they will only pricematch it 100% rather than the 155%. That is the only difference, but they will certainly pricematch internet companies.

[some do some dont the one by my house willnot price match anything unless its from a local store like ebx or officedepot so be carefull thats a long ride

both of the Staples B&Ms near me (SF Bay Area) pricematch 100%. in fact, they've even honored Staples.com coupons before. just call them up before you go there! I make sure I talk to the manager and let him know that I'm on my way. he's never really happy about it when I'm at the register (he was most unhappy to see me walk away with a zip drive and digital camera for $5), but he's never tried to BS his way out of what he told me over the phone.
