I just put together a computer today with an AMD 1600 XP chip, Epox 8k7a board, etc. I also just updated the BIOS to the latest version. This is my problem:
When it posts, it says "AMD Athlon 1050MHZ (100X10.5) FSB200"
Of course something is wrong...my other computer with the same setup posts totally differently. The outside of the chip says that its 1600...so why is it posting at 1050? Any guesses?

Thanks a bunch

They don't actually run at the speed they say... What speed does it say in Windows?

Maybe the FSB is set to run at 100 instead of 133? Maybe a jumper or something?

Yeah - looks like I missed a jumper setting...
Here I am thinking up all these complex possibilities...thanks alot!
