Try using a heavy duty or "rough service" bulb. These are designed to be used in work environments (high temps, rough handling) like a mechanic's work light. Any Wal-Mart or K-Mart or hardware store should carry them. Also, make sure you are using the correct wattage. Too low and the light won't work, too high and the bulb can overheat in the confined space where it sits. Good luck!:idea:
