Anyone? i dont think there are any modems, broadband or dialup, out yet. i guess if you wanted to, you could hook it up to a computer via a usb or firewire network adapter, but i dont think there are any games to support it yet. i have hooked up 2 ps2's together to play GT3, but thats all

Thanks TommyB, would you mind me asking how you hooked up the two ps2's together? Are there only certain games that allow you to join 2 ps2's?

Sounds like fun brutha. Imagine having two bigscreens side by side playing GT3. That would be so dope. I can't wait until we can play online with a bunch of other fools. Imagine playing Graffiti with like 10 other players on a server somewhere.

yeah, my friend brought his 27" wega over to my house and i had my 36" wega. it was pretty sweet . i cant wait till the ps2 boradband adapter comes out with some games. i would love a multiplayer gta games ;).
fyi, sony should release a network adapter which will take both rj-11 and rj-45 connectors. i dont know if it will allow dial up, but it will definatley work for broadband. its scheduled for august of this year along with SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals. i havent heard of any server fees yet, but the network adapter will be about 40 bucks and the game will be packaged with a headset so you can talk to each other.

The only game I've heard of so far, that you can play online with, is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Heres a FAQ (http://www.planettonyhawk.com/thps3/info/online/) on how to do that. I guess certain modems will work with your PS2's USB slot.
Here is a FAQ (http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/playstation2_ilink.txt) on the iLink, which is used to directly hook PS2's up. Looks like you can get up to 6 PS2 hooked up together with a hub.

M_A_C- thanks for the linkage. I was actually hoping that TH3 was one of the games that is networkable. Thanks for the linkage. I think I will probably order one of those adapters in the very near future
TommyB: Dude that game sounds incredible. The headset will alllow you to chat with other people on the server right? Oh man that is too crazy.
