Hey Yall,
Formatting a friends comp...
Deleted partition w/ winxp cd.... created partition...
formatted....
now.. while it was copying itself to load up.... it would get a BSOD....
Any clues?
Could it be a dying HDD?
the BSOD said to like try to disable caching stuff... i have no clue...
guys got any clues?
Please be SPECIFIC with your error messages. Only then can the Jedi come to your aid. Thank you.

To troubleshoot a BSOD -
Write down the first three lines on the screen. Then go to Microsoft's Knowledge Base (http://support.microsoft.com/default.asp) & start searching for keywords from those lines. Be sure to pick the proper OS from the dropdown box first!

Hehe.. sorry... was too lazy to write down was error message it says...

set BIOS settings to default or
try updating your BIOS

I agree with Markel, it must be either either a hardware or software problem....hehehe
