im a big fan of racing games so i thought id give it a try even though TD6 for the pc sucked. after a few minutes of playing it seems to be a decent game. good graphics, decent control, though it may seem to be a little loose. its strictly an arcade racer, not for you sim fans.

one thing i absolutely love about this game is one of the most hated things about console games today... loading times. this is beautiful. i actually had more fun during the wait than i did racing one of my friends. its PONG. the original. even though i pretty much dislike most of what infogrammes, now atari, has done since they have become a huge gaming conglomerate (sp?), i LOVE this.

enough of that, more to come later...

just a small little update...
who has heard of a right hand drive gt40? is it just me or shouldnt the steering wheel be on the left hand side of the car? and crashing is really rubbery. if you crash head on into a car or some solid object, you bounce off like the car was made of rubber. its a little annoying. maybe im too spoiled by gt3

agreed...i rented it last week and although it was fun, i just couldn't get into it...too cartoony. i think i've been ruined by gt3, and now i crave reality in my racing games...i don't think i'll ever enjoy a game like test drive, driver, crazy taxi, etc...

i also thought it was pretty easy...i mean i flew through the first 2 locations with ease...then decided to take it back, just wasn't feelin it.

anyone play this with the logitech gt3 wheel? when i use it, it automatically configures the left/brake pedal for the accelerator and the right/gas pedal for the brake. its annoying as hell. steering response is excellent, though the force feedback does seem a little excessive.
