Why don't you double check those quotes back on page 122 i believe and see for yourself, you agreed 100% with Jontas so what gives now? I'm not sure how often this happens, but it did happen a year ago with the "krusty" code and again a few months ago with the "golf 2004" code. A lot of people used these codes and were then banned from fox and lost all their points. It's ok to be paranoid, we all are and that's why we confirm, confirm confirm!

Bellabutterfly, Basically there are Fox employees who put "poison" codes into these forums to catch those who share codes, which is against the rules. Of course, the "poison" codes aren't the codes used on tv so those who enter are obviously sharing codes, since the only place these codes are entered are in forums, like this one and FatWallet. So, once you enter a "poison" code, its not too long after that your account is suspended, making you lose all your points. There is no way to tell if it is indeed a "poison" code so that is why we post ONLY the codes we see or hear ourselves and not by word of mouth. And for people like me that don't catch all the codes, I make sure a senior member, someone who has been here a while and has established trust with others, has posted or confirmed a code before I enter it myself. So, that is why the rules were established. So, we can beat Fox at their own game and keep our accounts up and running. Of course, there are occasional mishaps such as the recent Golf2004 code word, which is why the rules were made. If each of us follow the rules, there is a less likely chance of a "poison" code being entered, thus losing our accounts.

Also we have been through this PM thing before.... so if someone puts something on the board here, the first thing i hear is now why didn't you PM the person instead....so when someone PM, the first thing people want to do is put it on the board so everyone can see..... lets make up our minds on this....

You know we are all here doing the same thing trying to get codes or build our account up or accounts up whichever it is....so lets stick to doing that...instead of finding fault with someone all the time.....

I have stated when i saw travisz code i was on sure of it.... it just popped up out of the blue..... and we all have been confirming codes right along..... I did not know travisz, this person is a new member i was asking for my own self for someone to confirm it....no one did....and i haven't seen the code yet from anyone off the pizza box yet.... He comes on this board and everyone is pointing the finger at him right away....he has no idea what is going on....he gave a code and that was it..... if you didn't feel it was good or not....no one was twisting your arm to use it.... you could use it at your own risk.... so travisz i welcome you aboard on this forum, and i know you feel like your walking on eggshells.....you sort of have to prove yourself on here.... guility or trustworthy i guess..... I never put a code on here that i have not seen myself on television..... i don't feel like being hung for something....thats not really worth bothering about....

Who ever gives a bad code i don't think they purposely do it intentionally....if you see it on another board or whatever, i try to be sure that it is good first....
As a matter of fact.... when golf was given to me by my friend.and it wasn't Ben that gave it to me either... i tried it a few times gee whiz it didn't work....then i saw the code for golf2004 and it worked.... no one told me to put it in.... and then accounts started zapping away..... yes we work hard to get the codes.... i have better things to do then sit in front of a television through out a day trying to get codes.... but i do, do it...and i do share.....

So what i see and hear on this board..... if you don't like something....keep it more to yourself or share it in a grown-up manner....that is if you are grown-up ....What is the point of fighting over something so stupid as a code or i lost my account..... so what, start over again....thats what we all did when it happened....

I have nothing against Ben what so ever.... it could happen to anyone or at anytime.... so sit and think about it for awhile.... if you get a PM from someone and you don't want to read it.... then there is also a cancel button there to use.... and don't try to disgrace someone..... I don't think they're good anymore. Even if they were, I wouldn't use them. It could enable fox to track who you are and ban you from their site. Also, only use codes that are current and that have been confirmed by another member.

Well you get to know most of the people that are here....and you have that feel who is trustworthy..... And the point of hurting someone else, what is the point.... i can't see doing that to anyone...we are all here for the same reason.....
I never give a code unless i have seen it first.... and i am pretty sure of who does confirm pretty much does see it too.....
Sooner or later you have to trust someone.... cause you sure can't get all these codes by yourself unless you have nothing else to do but sit in fron of a television all day..... or you record all day long.....
Its just a chance you take, just about like anything else you do....
