It was good.... i didn't quiet understand all of it but caught on most of it.... sure know that they had 2 theaters for it....
Did either your or BenDogg remember which theater number in Edwards? I want to make sure I watch on the super-sized screen in Mira Mesa! Ideally, a posse of mine will drive up to watch the Edwards IMAX in Irvine. Saw Potter 3 that way, but got switched to another screen when there were technical difficulties, but still got free passes. :winkie: Normally an IMAX film is over $10-12! I think is one worth it.

Spike, We won't know which screen it's on @ Edwards until Friday. Our screening was in #1, but that probably won't last. I can't imagine Edwards putting anything other than Potter on their 5 or 6 biggest theaters next weekend. I think Potter will to0p $150 million this weekend!

I'll wait a few weekends to let the kiddies get their fix. Tho it would be cool to watch the flick w/all the super crazed fans & all their costumes/outfits.

SpikeDig,
I wanna see it again. That's how much I enjoyed the movie. I wonder if you could still tell me where to get the free ticket to watch on IMAX Edwards at Irvine. BTW, the Theatre at Edwards I don't remmber the number but they asked everybody who got their tickets from KYXY to go to the left while those who got theirs from FOX6 were asked to go to the right side of the theatre.

Yup, I agree. Sorry tailgater, I was able to get Edwards passes bec. the movie we were watching went on the fritz & they offered up the passes to make up for it.
I haven't seen a bad word, yet, on Potter 4. Anyone else think this will break box office records & be near the Top 10 grossing movies of all time?

SpikeDig(SetKill?)
These are different genres of movies. Those who like Richard Gere will probably see Bee, while those who like Reese Witherspoon (or Johnny Cash!) will head for Walk the Line.
In my opinion, Mission Valley does a better job of lining up the crowds, but La Jolla is not bad plus the first half of its line is inside the mall -- good as the weather gets colder. Either theater is comfortable.
Have fun with whichever you see.

The Madagascar DVD came & went @ 1p.m., so check @ 2 &/or 3 for the Disney DVD.
I remember the last Disney DVD, I think it was Cinderella, took a week to finally go up. My poor wife spent at least two hours in total trying to win it that week.

Now does Fox usually have one block/section of seats so that all the CP folks will sit all together? :heh: Now that will be one party!
Sometimes they are all together, sometimes not-so-much.
There are a few of us that make sure to meet up at least for a min or two between periods. If, that is, we're not already sitting together.
I'll be there with my sister, son and son's friend. PM me if you want to meet up and I'll give you my contact info.
But be warned, I'm deaf in one ear so when I'm in loud places like the iPayOne Center I usually don't talk much. Especially during the period, between periods, that's cool.

Yah, I know what you mean.
Sometimes I prefer the KyXy way of doing things (auction style with a generous 5 minute overtime after the last sucessful bid) but other times I just want to be able to 'buy' an item too.
Either way it can be frustrating. I've been trying to score two Nutcracker tickets for the longest time, and I've not been able to.

ONE ADMIT TWO PASS TO YOURS, MINE & OURS
IN THEATERS NOVEMBER 23, 2005 The remake of a 1968 film that starred Lucille Ball and Henry Fonder, YOURS, MINE, & OURS adds a comma and an ampersand to the title (the original is called YOURS, MINE AND OURS) but keeps everything else pretty much the same. Rene Russo stars as a widow with ten children, and Dennis Quaid as a similarly bereaved man with eight kids. This movie screens Thursday November 17th at 7pm at AMC LA JOLLA 12. Seating is not guaranteed so please arrive early.
I saw the director's cut to this, it's close to the original, a little far-fetched, but worth seeing if anyone is interested in the plot...
