Staged on Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island’s runway and tarmacs Oct 7th and 8th, the event is the U.S. Navy’s annual open house to the public. The Speed Festival, a San Diego Fleet Week event, is the only Fleet Week event in Coronado, benefiting the Navy’s MWR department that provides quality of life programs for Navy sailors and their families.
