And for those afraid to post, just remember:

*** Only post codes and information that keeps you anonymous. The more you put about yourself or your account, the easier it is for them to locate you.

I gave up all the ClearChannel programs because the risk became too high when Mary Cleary moved there from KXYX and started enforcing her strict rules. Aside from a weak set of prizes, they made it way too much work just to get a few points. I'm not wasting my time there any more until they fix their strategy.

On the other hand, Jack radio encourages code sharing and even gives you extra points just for spending time on their board. I've seen them recently give away 1000 "bananas" just for being on the board for a year sharing codes! Now that's a station that knows how to have fun.

I felt it was worth bringing the information here so others could share.
You're right. I've learned that, as in real life, you simply don't trust anyone until that trust is earned unless you are willing to risking losing something--maybe everything. It doesn't mean that people are not trustworthy, just that they are not yet on your trusted list.

There is nobody here that I specifically DIStrust, and there's even the possibility that people I trust are not trustworthy. For all I know, Paniolo is a station spy who's been posting good codes for years just so that we all fall victim to his master plot to shut everyone down. It's been known to happen in the real world. However, the risk to me is not THAT great so I trust him. Most people here are much higher risk because they haven't proven themselves--not because they are untrustworthy.

And the way you prove yourself is pretty easy--consistently post good codes and THEN have them confirmed by senior members. Again, that doesn't guarantee that you're trustworthy, but would a station really plant someone for an extended period to try to shut us down? It's not worth their time and money for such cheap prizes that they get from advertisers...and if they were smart, they'd realize that they actually get MORE advertising by letting us collaborate...Jack radio has already learned this and their program has not suffered after over a year of this (although there's still room for improvement.)

Trust is relative to risk. Posting codes here (even non-participants) is a risk even if you don't participate, but if you only have a few thousand points in a new account, the risk of losing everything is very low. When you have 100,000 points or more (or have had your account for a long time and wish to keep it) then the risk is very high with codes offered by those that your don't trust (regardless of why you don't trust them.)

I'm not here to gain people's trust. I'm here to share the codes with others who have selflessly shared the codes with me. If you don't trust my codes, simply don't enter them--no risk to you.
