Fujitsu Lifebook P2000

10.6"(w) x 7"(d) x 1.59"(h)
Only 3.4 lbs with combo drive and main battery

Dell Latitude c400 doesn't have the dvd\cdr drive on it, but it's the laptop that I chose to get. I don't regret getting one bit, I have no problems recommending it. And most of the time I don't need the floppy or dvd drive so I don't even carry them.

Very nice notebooks there, haven't ordered from them before, but they SEEM legit. They're also pretty pricey, but the notebooks there are nice and small :) .

cruelpupet, I'm sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience with Dell and I can totally understand, I have a dell computer at work too, and it is a total piece of crap. But the laptop I got from them is great, and I even bought it from them refurbished so that also saved a decent amount of cash.

As for docking stations, I considered getting one, but in the end I decided it wasn't worth the money, I just have a $6 USB hub that has 4 ports and I connect my keyboard, mouse and printer through them. So when I use it I only have to connect the hub, ethernet, and monitor.... just a cost saving suggestion :)

That goes to show. Never buy a desktop computer that is prebuilt. Whether it be Dell, Gateway, Compaq, Apple, HP, or any of the many others I have not listed. Build it yourself.
