Well, I'm not going to download the trailer, but I am a big Star Trek fan...
So it is coming out in December? Arg, so they are going to try and make me decide between this and the Two Towers?... :hmm:  I'll watch both!
This is also the last movie for the "Next Generation" crew.

Where did you hear that this was the last movie for the Next Gen crew? (I havent heard anything about this movie so I am not doubting your information, just wondering where you got it so I can go read it myself)
Thanks.

If it bombs it will be the last. If it does well they will make more. The people in charge of the Star Trek franchise will ride that gravy train until it utterly dries up.

Just out of curiosity, how many of us have seen every singe star trek movie in the theater? I for one have.
I also have an original Star Trek: The Motion Picture movie poster from when the movie was originally released. (Its in bad condition as it was on my walls for the good portion of two decades) Unfortunately I lost an original model of the enterprise. It was the one with the working lights from the 70's also.
Damn...now I know I am going to feel old from the responses.

I've seen them all in the theater. Although I was pretty young then Star Trek: The Motion Picture came out.

The first Star Trek movie I saw in theaters was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
If the pattern holds true (of every second Star Trek film being the better ones), then Nemesis should be really good. I'm doubtful it will top "The Wrath of Khan," but who knows.

I get irritated when a movie's main plot is one character (or crew) must save the galaxy/world/etc.
Spiderman was cool because the fate of the known universe was not at stake. Insurection was cool because it was just one planet.
Nemesis appears to be about a faction of Romulans...hopefully it will be just a few planets that are at stake, not the entire galaxy/federation.

Who here saw all of the STAR WARS movies in the theaters? :hihi:
You can count me in on this one too. I can even say that I saw the originals plus the remasters and now the two released prequels.

I was 8 when I saw the original Star Wars in the theaters. :hihi:
Are you sure you were 8? I thought that came out in 1977... that would make you...
Anyway, I started with Empire... and haven't missed one yet...

I was 15 when Star Wars came out. There was none of that fancy surround sound or anything like that. And we liked it!
Seriously, I like all the movies for different reasons. I just wish George Lucas would release the original movies in DVD format. Why release the newest one without releasing the older ones?
If he's greedy he'll release them all at once, only available in a set. That way you'll have to buy them all, even if you only want one or two movies. I've got the original and remastered movies in letterbox. It's about time to get them on DVD.
