does anyone have any idea why my sony vaio laptop uses really high system resources when running off battery? it never used to do this, but all of a sudden as soon as i unplug it you see the used resources jump from like 3% to almost 40%, and everyhting (including the mouse) moves in slow motion. easy fixes or suggestions other than reformatting?
