To heck with hackers.

I'm more worried about my WIFE finding out what's on my pc! :P

Kidding! I'm just kidding, honey! There's nothing to hide... really!

They had a few things right, but most of the stuff they were wrong about.

Most Universities: "What is this firewall you speak of? And how much does it cost?"

we have one, kinda. Our university seems to have a bunch of IT people with the attitude of "Well, i was certified back in 1986, but now i dont need it." So many things dont seem to run as planned. Go figure. Because as you might know technology NEVER changes. :D

Well, hackers apparently aren't very bright. Or they're used to being wrong.

All the thing got right was my IP... and I'll let 'em have that. They got the IP of my firewall, but not the IP of my pc.

They think I live in St. Louis, Missouri, rather than central Wisconsin.

They didn't get my browser right.

My network only resolved back to the firewall IP.

And they couldn't pick up any cookie info, or any exploits.

Looks like the hackers need to get back to work... :P

actually i could pass the dslreports test despite having 2 servers running (www/ftp)! Its all about the firewall. I still don't know why but it would always show up as completely secure. :)

Do hackers always ask for permission before breaking into your system?

I don't think that that website actually hacked into your system. My guess is...I've seen something like this before. On a similar source code, the code extracts things from the harddrive so that you can browse your system from the window, while this is sort of doing the same thing.
