Combat air patrols will fly randomly over U.S. cities. Federal homeland security officials will be monitoring more than 2,000 Fourth of July events. FBI and local law enforcement will be on alert across the country. Yet Americans are gearing up to mark the nation's Independence Day, and President Bush is urging them to "celebrate heartily."

Saw 2 F-15s flying CAP over the Oregon Coast today... pretty damn cool. Streaking along, prolly 250 knots or so, not very high, maybe 1000 feet up, hugging the coast line.

Oh... ya.. I kinda enjoy aircraft, especially those of the military persuasion... =)
