Ok... I have searched all over and have found nothing that works...
What I want is a program that will make my Joystick act as a keyboard, it won't replace the entire keyboard, but when you press a key on the keyboard, it will be the same as pressing a key on the keyboard. I want to do this because my Girlfriends mother doesn't like playing games with the keyboard/mouse combo. She likes using the Joystick, but games like Maypayne, I think Alice in wonderland too have no joystick support.
I have found and tried JoyKeys and JoyEMU but I can't get them to work with windowsXP same as with Microsofts Sidewinder thing.

hehe... Whoops. I think I ment when you press a key on the joystick, it will be the same thing as pressing a key on the keyboard.
Funny thing is if you are the first to pick that up, you must be the only one to actually read this post.

I have a really old joystick - Gravis Pheonix that does what you want, I think. In order to connect this joystick to the computer you had to unplug your keyboard, connect the joystick into BOTH the game port and the keyboard port and then plug the keyboard into one of the ports the joystick provided. I then had a separate program that let you assign the various buttons of joystick to keyboard commands. Great joystick, the best I've ever had or seen. Problem is, I first got it when I had a windows 95 machine (I mainly used it to play X-Wing) and I haven't been able to get it to work with windows 98SE and I haven't tried it with windows 2000 yet.

PoloM1 - Thanks for the offer, but she has a joystick and she wants that one to act like the keyboard. Only because games like Max Payne don't support joystick.
PsillyPyro - Precisly!
Microsofts sidewinder could do it, remember UltraHLE?

But this software doesn't work in XP, and I doubt it will work with her joystick. I believe she has a gravis, all I am sure is that it is not microsoft.
Here are the programs I have found but have had no luck with
