And let me just say it's REALLY humid here. You step outside and you start to sweat and you feel like there is a flim on you...nasty.

Let me also say that if Mr. Murphy were alive today...I would kill him. (As in Murphy's law)

1. My plane to my connecting flight in Seoul was supposed to leave at 1am....but since there was a TYPHOON in Korea...it was delayed until 5am.

2. I thought I was going to miss my connecting flight (It was at 9) but they held it until 9:30 which was nice. BUT...they had mechanical problems and so we did not get into the air until around 11:15.

3. Got to Hong Kong around 2:30 and after customs and what not met my brother (who had been waiting for 3 hours) at 3:00.

4. Had to catch a ferry to Macau which left at 4:00. This involved a 40 minute bus ride to a place close and then a 10 minute power walk to the ferry terminal. After checking in some luggage and showing our passports, we had 5 minutes left....and we found out that the ferry gate was at the very tail end of the building. More running for us...then we made it finally with 2 minutes to spare.

So...it was a very interesting trip...:)

I'm teaching summer school here...english...it's a lot of fun!

Joy geen! (Cantonese for goodbye) :D

1. Your plane did not end up in a Typhoon.

2. You did not miss your conecting flight. And better mechanical problems on the ground than in the air!!!

3. You made it through customs without a full body cavity search and your brother was there to meet you.

4. You actualy did make the ferry.

Enjoy your summer! :wavy:

Ok... I'm pretty dense when it comes to these things so please bear with me. Is there some sort of relationship between GraingerGuy and Cheesypuff or did you guys just happen to be in Macau at the same time?

molecularfire - Yeah...:) Me and Cheesy are brothers. I'm the older one...even though all the people here think he's the older cause he's taller than me. (He has like three inches on me! Not fair! :))

NuTs62 and passwird - Ho lang!...I'll hook ya'll up ;)

jujubees - Just go everywhere! Macau isn't all that big....:) The mission front thing is pretty cool. (The entire mission burned down and colapsed except for the front) There are a TON of good places to eat too...those hole in the wall places are the best! There is a huge statue of the goddess of mercy in the harbor which is nice to visit too. They did a really good job on that statue. I really couldn't tell you much else...I haven't gone to see the sights for around 3 years. :)

Yeah, it sucks when your younger brother is taller than you (mine has an inch over me, but I slouch a LOT so he looks a lot taller than me. As long as you can still kick his rear around, height doesn't matter. My brother can tell you... you don't forget upteen years of abuse. :P
