there used to be another distro that did this. It had 1 large file that contained the OS. The file was internally a ext2 file system. Turbo linux maybe? I dont remember, but i dont think it lasted too long

I dont remember, but i dont think it lasted too long winlinux or whatever. but if the partition is fat32, then it'll still be that. i wouldn't trust it as far as i can huck the disk. i guess they don't get that some of us like the security of partitions :P

Never dealt with amazon rebates, but I would think it was be pretty fast.

lol, I remember winlinux... I actually installed it for like a day. It was quite "interesting" to say the least. ;)
