very neat. I always thought it would look like how they did the special effects in movies (when a bullet is fired, like i the matrix)

what good is a video of a plane breaking the sound barier if there's no audio in the video?

can't hear the sonic BOOM!

anyway, the visual effect is pretty cool.

Looks like that was taken from the deck of a aircraft carrier. A gentlemen ,who was in the Navy for 27 years, told me that those supersonic fly overs are actually a real treat for the crew since they are not allowed very often. I saw the same thing on TLC I think and the darn engine blew on the sucker! the pilot had to ditch the plane in the sea.

I once saw a still shot of something very similar - the rear half of the aircraft was enveloped in this perfectly symmetrical cloud of vapor. Cool to see it in action though! :thumbup:

My father-in-law has all kinds of these little clips - then again, he was an A-6 & F-18 aviator and a full-bird Colonel in the Marine Corps.
