hehe, some of you guys may have read a couple of my other threads about wanting to unlock my xp2100+ processor and the only known way of it was by using this guide
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1009
check it out, even if you don't have a 2100 because it's really cool what they did to it.....anways I decided to replicate this but by using and extremely sharp exacto knife instead of a dremel and it turned out great! my ram (even though its pc2700) didnt like being at a full 166x2 fsb so right now its at 160x2 and running rock solid, I just wanted to post this incase anyone else was curious or contemplating unlocking their xp2100+ because it's potentially deadly to the processor by slicing stuff up on it.

lol, that looks familiar, in fact after my first attempt it wouldnt even post or anything so I got pissed off and started slicing and as it turns out I didnt slice deep enough the first time and so then it decided to work.... :shrugs: ... almost thought I lost a 170 dollar chip, shoulda taken pictures but too late now, don't feel like applying that thermal paste for the third time.....long live the manual dremel
