Alright, i jsut got done moving. Yesterday I set up my reciever (kenwood vr-409) and turn it on. it's works just fine. Today I turn it on and it's buzzing loudly. It's kinda like the buzzing you might here from the transformers on lightpoles. It didn't use to do this. could something have happened to the power supply in it?
AGH! this is freaking my out! I don't have the money to go buy a new reciever right now!
Please, any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I've opene up my baby and tracked the noise down to the transformer. great. why would it be buzzing all of a sudden like this? is there a way i can fix it? would it be a possibility to replace it?

Anyways, I'm happy i figured it out. a new transformer would have costed a little more than $50 (plus shipping).

Make sure there are no Halogen lights plugged into the same powerstrip as your receiver. Halogen lights are actually alien space tranceivers which may interfere with any other receiver that might be using the same power source.
Never mind you figured it out
just kick it. that'll work.
or bang (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47692) on it.
