Myabe part of the problem with you not beign able to move this item is the fact taht your asking price is almost identical to the price to buy the sam eitem new from Dell.

Inspiron 2600
$1,197.00

Again-- I'm not trying to bring you down or anything but if you want to move this you might consider dropping your price for used product below that of the new item.

Its customary to private message or use some other means of communication to advise a person on price. I have on occasion done this myself. Otherwise, doing it in a thread may be considered thread crapping. No doubt doneedlove would be more than happy to respond back and adjust his price if need be.

*shrug*

Missed the custom--- figured after he's bumped it a half a dozen times it moight be time for someone to step up and help him try and figure out why its not moving.

KornKob, I check the link you post. It's for a celeron not P3. The different is P3 1 GHZ is much better than celeron 1GHZ.. thanks.

ah.. some guys i didn't know wanted to trade $900 and P3 800MHZ combo with a Geforce 32Meg. He wanted me to do COD for the $900 laptop and he said he'll ship the part only after i shipped my part also. I asked him for heatware and he backout because i told him that i only do COD with the people i know. What do you guys think?? should i do COD and ship my laptop and waiting for his money hopefully he would send out his part. He said he wanted to have the laptop by Friday, that meant i will have to ship 3 days and this would cost me a fortune from shipping. Thanks.

Does the gentleman have any references at all? Him backing out when you ask for heatware is not a real positive sign. Especially when it should be obvious what heatware is after doing a little finding out about it.

You know the drill: You are the one with 29 heatware evals {all positive except 1 neutral} while he apparently has none. Since that is the case he is supposed to ship and/or pay first.

There's a chance he could be on the up and up but with amount of trolls out there its a risk. If you have any qualms about getting into a deal, don't do the deal. Yes that means losing a potential sale but isn't that better than getting rid off? My advice is talk with the guy some more and see if the situation changes. If it doesn't, would I do the deal and go against your wise policy of only doing COD with known traders on your trusted list? No.

hi,
Thanks. He didn't mention he have any heatware. I think he didn't have one. Well, the thing is off.
