Free MP3 Player from Altavista. - I think it works

I just got an email from them saying I'm getting another 5000 points from last weekends fiasco. So I checked out the site. They've got an MP3 player for 15000 points!

Now I've got 1500 points for signing up, 1000 for the first email re last weekend, 5000 for the second. So I'm halfway there. You can earn up to 1000 points per day clicking links. So in 8 days I should have enough.

You can click on up to 10 featured sites per day.
Right now everything is double points. So click on 10 worth 50x2 for 1000. Do this everyday for the next week and you'll have enough. Asuming the thing is still on then.

Altavista shopping gives points when you visit websites and buy stuff. If you missed out on this weekend you missed 6000 points. (Or 500 000 for some lucky buggers)

1000 points is usually worth about a dollar, but they've got an MP3 player for 15000 points, or $15 worth of points.

I actually won 500,000 on 7/4 and they refused to give them to me. Got 1000 pts for the screw up, 2000 for pointing it out, and another 5000 today as apology. Still a long way to go for anything decent.

Anyone else lose all their points after getting today's 5000 point bonus? I just redeemed my points for that last night. I had been getting 1000 a day for around 1 1/2 week, then they gave me 5000, and that knocked me over the limit.

Is there a limit as to how much points you can earn each day? it says there is a 10 page limit for the featured stores but it says nothing bout the 5 pnt viewed pages.

About the double point deal, the "partner sites" as they called it are already doubled. For example, Buy.com is 25 but is double to 50, not 2 X 50 = 100. I do have a question, do you get the points just by clicking on the link? Cuz I did that and never got my points.
