150% of its retail speed is **weak**!?! :P

I'm glad to hear your system is the raging beast that it is. The memory is my system is my bottleneck, as I went the cheap route and bought PC2100. When memory prices drop (I think Christmas) I'll pickup some PC3200/3400.

:thumb: Good going Chosen... and if you have no more need of your "weak" components, you can just send them my way! ;)

How come PC2700 is cheaper than PC2100??? I guess the memory is phasing out so it gets more expensive.

take a look at the price for a 1.33 200fsb athlon vs. the newer athlon XP's, it really never went down even though at this point its ancient.

..or the Pentium III 800E's. I bought one *two years ago* for $200, and it's still 115 at pricewatch. (Good overclocker).

I picked up 2 sticks of 512MB Corsair PC2700 (CMX...the fast stuff, not the "value" line) from a place I found in PriceWatch for $130 each shipped. Shipping was a little slow (9 days) but it was worth the wait. Speedy and stable. Yeah!
